PEN is not about 'experts' providing theoretical advice on patient experience - rather finding ways to share real expertise from the 'sharp end' within healthcare. We will look for ways in which we can provide further support around the future of patient experience. This includes our Watershed research which will be undertaken shortly.

Watershed is aimed at Chief Execs and Board Members and aims to answer the question: How can Customer Service / Patient Experience contribute to a revolution of the world's largest service industry?

A recent reputation benchmarking exercise by The Reputation Institute found that when the NHS across the UK was compared with other public sector bodies, its reputation trailed the BBC's, but was on par with that of the London Stock Exchange or the Bank of England.
